Windows Mail - Windows Vista

If this is the first time Windows Mail has launched you will be prompted to create a new account, otherwise, select the Tools menu option then select Accounts. You can then chose to add a new Mail account.

Step 1: Display name will be the name your e-mails will come from, such as "John Smith", and click next.

 

Step 2: Enter your assigned e-mail address in the box and click next.

Step 3: Use the settings in the screen shot above, make sure POP3 is selected in the first option.

 

Step 4: Use your full e-mail address as the Account name, and your password. Click next and then finish to create your account. After you click finish, you can use the "Send/Receive" toolbar button to check your mail.
